Beer Tiramisu


  • 1 bottle 0,5 l Salvator
  • or another strong beer
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 10 cl espresso
  • 6 cl beer liqueur (e.g. from the Rauch distillery in Marktredwitz)
  • Vanilla sugar and lime zest
  • Cocoa powder and powdered sugar
  • 12 pieces of sponge fingers
  • Cut into 1 cm pieces

    Reduce 0.3 l Salvator to 1/3 of the amount. Leave the Salvator to cool and then mix with the mascarpone. If necessary, add a little more Salvator if the reduced liquid is not enough. Then season the mixture with vanilla sugar and lime zest and leave to stand for at least 15 minutes.
    Carefully soak the sponge fingers in the espresso and beer liqueur.
    Fill the soaked sponge fingers and the seasoned mascarpone cream alternately into a small beer mug.
    Finally, dust the filling of the beer mug with cocoa powder and then with powdered sugar.
    Serve with an espresso and a good shot of beer liqueur.
