OUR KITCHEN MANAGEMENT GETS AN ADDITION

True to this motto, our Marcel and our Jimmy have worked their way up, bit by bit. The two have been a part of our kitchen team since their apprenticeship and have grown more and more in their tasks, knowledge and skills over the past years. They have also always been interested and passionate about their cooking profession. So it now comes about that the two of them have climbed the stairs more and more and from now on they will strengthen our Christof, who has been our head chef for 32 years, as his right hand and leading force in the operational business.

Even though Christof will continue to be in charge of the kitchen, he will increasingly give way to our "boys" and assist them in word and deed. This will not only give Christof the opportunity to concentrate more intensively on the training of our apprentices, but also to take more care of administrative tasks such as purchasing, in order to further advance our kitchen quality and creativity.

Marcel (25 years old) has already been an integral part of our kitchen team since 2017 and will take over the position as sous chef (deputy chef) with immediate effect.

Our Jimmy (23 years), who is now already since 2015 in our Kaiseralm, takes over the position of deputy sous chef.

Since training in general is very close to our hearts, we are particularly proud of this positive and sustainable development in our Kaiseralm team.

TRAINEES REMAIN LOYAL TO THE KAISERALM FAMILY



It's that time again - the final exams are just around the corner!

We are pleased that also this year our three trainees from the 3rd year of apprenticeship have decided to stay with us at the Kaiseralm after their final exams.
Lena will finish her apprenticeship as a hotel manageress and will take over tasks in marketing and sales as well as welcome you - our guests - at the reception.
Pia and Lennart, who have both completed their training as chefs, will also remain with us. While Pia will take over the entremetier (warm side dishes, soups and fish), Lennart will become the post chef of the gardemanger (cold dishes, snacks and desserts).

We are really happy that the three of them will remain loyal to our Kaiseralm family and will continue to support us in the future!

DOREEN SCHOTT - OUR RESTAURANT MANAGER CELEBRATES HER 30TH ANNIVERSARY

Many of you know her - our Doreen! She has been supporting us for 30 years now and has been with us through all the ups and downs. Doreen completed her training as a restaurant manager in our house, has been our restaurant manager for many years and is responsible for the various restaurants and the management of our conference area.

Dear Doreen,
we would like to thank you very much for 30 years of loyalty, commitment, support and friendship. We look forward to many more years with you!

THE NEW GENERATION

Stephanie Schreiner returns to her parents' business and takes over the position of hotel manager. After her apprenticeship as a chef and her time in the kitchen, she completed further training to become a state-certified hotel manager for the hotel and restaurant industry in Pegnitz. With her previous knowledge and experience, she will work together with her parents on the future and further direction of the Hotel Kaiseralm and also actively participate in the daily business. As in the past, it is important to meet the expectations of our guests and to constantly adapt the offer accordingly. Stephanie Schreiner can rely on a great and experienced team and has the full support of her parents, who will continue to work in the business and support her in word and deed.

NEW AT HOTEL KAISERALM - E-CHARGING STATION FOR CARS

E-charging station at Hotel Kaiseralm

Since summer 2022, an e-charging station with two connections has been available to our house guests in our car park. The charging stations have 11 kWh per connection. Ask at our reception for the current price for the kWh. The station is only available to our hotel guests - this is not a public charging station. The refuelling will be charged via your credit card.

Charging is subject to availability - advance reservations are not possible.
